Accessibility statement
Blue Ridge Pediatrics wants every family to be able to use this website, including parents and patients who use a screen reader, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Every change to the site is checked with automated accessibility testing, and we fix problems as we find them.
- Text and links meet WCAG AA color-contrast ratios.
- Every page includes a “Skip to main content” link, and menus and pop-ups can be used with a keyboard.
- Images carry text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Pages can be zoomed, and animation is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
Sites we link to
The patient portal, online registration, and online bill pay are provided by our electronic health record vendor, and some resources link to documents published by other organizations. We don't control those sites, but we will help you get the same information another way.
