Gregory L. Adams, MD, FAAP

Dr. Adams has been a part of the medical community in Boone for the past twenty years.  A North Carolina native, he grew up in Fairborn, Ohio, and graduated from The Ohio State University for his undergraduate studies as well as medical school.  From there he moved to Dallas, Texas, where he did his internship and residency at Children's Medical Center.  After working in Michigan several years, Dr Adams moved his family to Boone in 1986 and has been with Blue Ridge Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine since it opened as Boone Pediatric Center in October of 1992.  Dr. Adams is currently an adjunct professor for UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine as well as Wake Forest University/Bowman Gray School of Medicine.  He has a special interest and passion for missions work.   He enjoys running, golf and traveling.  Dr. Adams and his wife, Carol, have four children and are active at Alliance Bible Fellowship.

Dr. Lonas grew up in Columbus, Georgia, where he attended Columbus College and graduated magna cum laude with a BS in biology.  He received his MD from the Medical College of Georgia and was a member of the medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha.  After completing his pediatric residency in Charlotte, North Carolina, Dr. Lonas opened a solo practice in Bainbridge, Georgia and worked there for nine years before joining Blue Ridge Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine in 1998.  Dr. Lonas' special interests are infectious diseases and allergies.  He is active in organized medicine at the local, state and national level where he seeks to improve healthcare delivery for all children.  Dr. Lonas and his wife, Jane, have three children and are active at Alliance Bible Fellowship.


W. Scott St. Clair, MD, FAAP

After growing up in Atlanta, Dr. St Clair first moved to North Carolina during college where he received a BA in Political Science from Duke University.  He earned his MD from the Medical College of Georgia and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.  He completed his pediatric residency at the Children's Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was voted most outstanding senior resident.  Dr. St Clair's special interests include pediatric asthma and children with special needs.  He and his wife, Cameron, have lived in Boone since 2002 and have three children.


Clinton B. Zimmerman, MD, FAAP

Clinton B. Zimmerman, MD, FAAP

Dr. Clint Zimmerman was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, and was later raised in Decatur, Georgia.  After attending Florida Bible College for one year, he attended Georgia Tech and received a Bachelors Degree in Health Systems Engineering.  He then became a management engineer at Durham General Hospital for three years.  He received his MD from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 1987 and completed three years of residency and one year of chief residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.  He has practiced in Boone since 1991 and has been with Blue Ridge Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine since it opened in 1992.  He is blessed with a wonderful wife, Stacy, and three daughters and one son.  He enjoys playing the guitar, reading and hiking.  He and his family are active members of Alliance Bible Fellowship in Boone.


Michelle H. Lubkemann, PA-C

Michelle H. Lubkemann, PA-C

Michelle was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina.  She graduated from Mars Hill College with a BS in biology and entered the Physician's Assistant Program at Bowman Gray , Wake Forest Medical School in 1993.  Upon graduation, Michelle worked in a family practice in Fairmont, North Carolina for two years.  She joined Blue Ridge Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine full time in 1995.   She has since had three children, Austin, Amanda and Aaron and now works part time with us.  Michelle is married to Jonathan Lubkemann and is active volunteer at Hardin Park Elementary School and Mount Vernon Baptist Church.
